My Thoughts
I was completely ensconced in this book from start to
finish. The characters are loveable and
the story is chock full of, on the edge of your seat adventure. This is a story about people with special
gifts called Graces. You could tell if someone was a grace by the two different
eye colors. The graces were different
talents in different people from swimming to mind reading. In the beginning of the book Katsa thinks her
Grace is killing but she soon finds out that is not the case. Katsa is a strong female character and does
not need a guy to come and save her. She
is basically a killer for hire, but she learns to care and begins to come to
grips with her humanity. The love story
between her and Poe is a sweet and caring love.
I enjoyed this book and it is well worth your time to read.
